We are proud to announce that Walter Koenig, who played Pavel Chekov on Star Trek - The Original Series, as well as Alfred Bester on the hit series, Babylon 5, will be a guest at Uni-Con 2008. Walter has been up to a lot lately as well, including working to promote awareness of the situation in Burma, writing his own movie, InAlienable which puts a Sci-Fi twist on paternal love, and being in a number of recent movies, such as The Bone Eater and Mad Cowgirl.
Jeanne Cavelos was a senior editor at Bantam Doubleday Dell, where she ran
the SF/F/H programs and won the World Fantasy Award. Jeanne left publishing
to write. Her seven books include the best-selling Passing of the
Techno-Mages trilogy, The Science of Star Wars, and The Science of the
X-Files. Her work has twice been nominated for the Stoker Award. Jeanne is
director of Odyssey, a summer workshop for writers of SF/F/H held in
Manchester, NH.
Steve Meretzky is a veteran game designer whose career began at Infocom in the 1980s. He is best known for the adventure game Planetfall, as well as a number of other works, and with many awards to his name. He has worked for or with numerous game industries and has had an incredible impact on the development of games.
Leigh Grossman is the author of twelve published books and teaches science fiction and publishing at the University of Connecticut. His most recent books are fantasy novels The Green Lion and The Golden Thorns. He has been an editor and production supervisor at various NYC publishers and a book reviewer for several magazines. Current projects include developing online learning tools for universities in the Philippines.
